Diving day trip from Khao Lak to Koh Bon

If you want to see manta rays more than anything else then Koh Bon diving is the day trip for you.

Koh Bon diving schedule:
Mon: Koh Bon and Koh Tachai (2 dives)
Wed: Koh Bon & Koh Bon (2 dives)
Friday: Koh Bon & Koh Bon (2 dives)
Sun: Koh Bon & Koh Bon (2 dives)

Mon: 4,800 baht
Wed: 5,600 baht
Fri: 4,600 baht
Sun: 5,600 baht

The prices do not include national park fees (700 baht per diver) or equipment rental.


Typical itinerary is:

0800: Hotel pick up and transfer to Ban NamKhem pier.
0900: Depart to Koh Bon.
1030: Dive 1
1200: Lunch and surface interval
1300: Dive 2
1530: Arrive back at Ban NamKhem pier
1630: Arrive back at your hotel

The speedboat is 14m long with 3 x 225hp Honda 4 stroke engines which are quiet and fume free. The top speed is over 40 knots wiith a cruising speed of 30 knots.

There is emergency oxygen and a first aid kit aboard. There is a toilet and an outside shower.
